Extract from Report on Spring Workshop 2013 written by Vivienne Scott

Below is the extract from Vivienne Scott's report on Spring Workshop 2013 with Ria Vos and Karl-Harry Winson:

"The next day (April 28 ) was Emily Woo's party. It is held at a restaurant just north of the city that has a huge dance floor. Emily and the charming and helpful members of her Raindrops group know how to throw a party!! The food was excellent and the ambiance the best. You can eat a ten course meal and dance for seven hours straight!! How bad can that be?!!

Ria, Karl, Fred and I taught our event dance 'From Latin With Love' and Ria and Karl were up on the dance floor throughout the evening leading their own dances to the delight of the dancers. Karl entertained the dancers as well with a delightful 'rose' routine, Emily and her dancers performed a beautiful fan dance (choreographed by Emily) and the gangnam style dance was hilarious!! Emily told me she couldn't sleep that night as her legs hurt, and I am not surprised, she did not stop for one second!! Many thanks to Emily for a really wonderful evening and a special memory for our guests to take home. "

New Improver Level Line Dance Class

Thank You Letter from Emily Woo - Performance on October 19, 2012

Raindrops Dance was invited to perform in 2012 Dance in Fall Performance Night Event organized by Ms. Lily Choi at Markham Theatre on October 19, 2012. The dance performed is called Hotel Nacional specially choreographed by Emily Woo for this event. Some famous line dance choreographers were also performing at the show. Numerous complimentary comments were received towards Rd3's performance. Emily wants to express her appreciation to the dancers and helpers to make it a great success . Spring Tulip Classic Festival of Dance - May 19, 2012

Congratulations to Raindrops Dance team dancers on winning the championship of Group Line Dancing Competition of Spring Tulip Classic Festival of Dance, which was held at Hamilton Convention Centre on May 19, 2012. The group of 14 dancers danced Ja Ja Mbo for the competition. Emily added some stylish modifications to the dance. The group underwent Emily's strict training for the past few weeks. On winning the championship, all of them were relieved with joy and agreed that the hard work was worthwhile. Click here to watch the video.

As one of the guest instructors of Spring Tulip Classic Festival of Dance, Emily taught Feel Good Cha at the Intermediate level Line Dancing Workshop held on May 19, 2012.
