A mini party will be held at Langstaff Community Centre on Wed., Feb 1, 2012. The party starts at 7:15 pm and finishes at 10:30 pm. Admission is $5.00 per person for Raindrops Dance members. New Registration Policy

Starting from upcoming term, there will be a new registration policy. If you pay the fee for the full session and know that you will be absent for some classes, you will be given vouchers which can be used to join any classes. Criteria regarding the issuance of the vouchers are highlighted as follows:

1. Must specify the dates of absence at the same time when registering & paying for full session. No subsequent changes will be entertained.
2. Maximum 2 vouchers for each full session.
3. Vouchers are valid for 3 months from date of issue.

Dance With Kate & Robbie - Apr 10, 2011

Do you still remember we had a fun-filled party with Kate & Robbie on Apr 10, 2011. Thanks for Vivienne Scott who invited these 2 famous choreographers to Toronto. Vivienne wrote an article about the event entitled Heroes Over The Pond, which was published on Linedancers magazine - June 2011 issue. Below is the extract of the article:

"...On the Sunday the incomparable Emily Woo and her helpers hosted a huge party for us in a Chinese restaurant just north of the city. Robbie & Kate taught an easy dance each then later in the evening the four of us taught ‘Dr. Flame’. Lots of Robbie & Kate dances on the floor and, again, the dancers were so happy to have the choreographers join them. I was honoured to have a number of my dances on the floor as well, and in addition Fred & I led ‘Blue Cha’ and ‘Latin Crazy’. These dancers sure dance, they started before 5 p.m. and didn’t finish until midnight. Some of the dancers rarely sat down so I think they must have absorbed their meal by osmosis!! ..."

Donation To Rd3 Yee Hong Fund-raising Night 2010

The total donation raised from the Rd3 Yee Hong Fund-raising Night 2010 is C$30,568. It is so encouraging. Once again, Emily wants to express her deepest gratitude to those who made it happen. All the donation was handed over to Yee Hong on December 30, 2010. The cheque was received by Dr. Joseph YK Wong, the Chair of Yee Hong Wellness Foundation.
